Mongolian Khan stamped himself as one to watch as a three-year-old and remains outright favourite to win the 2015 Caulfield Cup after drawing the ideal barrier 9.

Winning each of the Group 1 New Zealand Derby (2400m) and Group 1 Australian Derby (2400m) through autumn, the son of Holy Roman Emperor has found slick form leading into the Caulfield Cup after placing fourth in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes (1800m) and third in the Group 1 Caulfield Stakes (2000m) last weekend.

Japanese raider Hokko Brave was not so lucky in his allocation of barrier 19, but his countryman Fame Game is sure to lay a great account for himself after securing alley 1 in the 2015 Caulfield Cup barrier draw.

Fame Game returned to racing this year for a forgettable 12th in the Group 2 American Jockey Club Cup (2200m) in late January, but stamped himself as a serious Cups hope in taking out the Group 3 Diamond Stakes (3400m) and running second in the Group 1 Tenno Sho (3200m) most recently.

Talented stayer Our Ivanhowe has found great condition leading into the Caulfield Cup but will need plenty of luck in transit from barrier 17.

Posting five wins and two minors through 13 career starts, Our Ivanhowe clearly needed the run when ninth in the Group 3 Naturalism Stakes (2000m) first-up, but relished a step-up in distance when second in the Group 3 The Bart Cummings (2520m) last time out on October 4th.

Popular mare Royal Descent is sure to lay a great account for herself in the 2015 Caulfield Cup but will need plenty of luck after drawing the outside barrier 22.

A Group 1 winner having taken out the 2013 edition of the Australian Oaks (2400m), Royal Descent returned this time for success in the Group 2 Warwick Stakes (1400m) and has continued to impress over increasing distances; running third in the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes (1600m) and second in both the Group 1 George Main Stakes (1600m) and Group 1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) most recently.

Snow Sky figures as clear market mover at a quote of $12 for success after his allocation of gate 3 in the 2015 Caulfield Cup barrier draw.

Winning each of the Group 2 Yorkshire Cup (2816m) and Group 2 Harwicke Stakes (2414m) most notably this year, Snow Sky will be partnered by champion hoop Damien Oliver.
